The frosty giant is situated in northeast China, bordering the Democratic People's Republic of Korea in the south.
The Chinese call it 長白山
The Koreans call it 白頭山
The most beautiful part is the 'tian chi', formed in the crater of changbai mountain.
The attractions of the dormant volcano includes rare animals, marvelous lake, amazing hot spring and forest that stretch to the horizon.
It has four seasons, winter is the longest and the most beautiful one.

with 82'C being the highest.
July and August is raining season.
The best time to visit is September.
It starts snowing in October.
It would be nice if one can stay with Korean families to understand local life.
Anyways, they have hotels there.
Oh and,
beware of changbai lake monster! ;)
